The Biomedical Data Asset showcased at ARDC’s Leadership Forum

Representatives from Phenomics Australia were present at the recent Leadership Forum organised by the Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC) and focused on the crucial theme of Data and Platforms to Meet Australia’s Future Research Needs.

Held at the Australian Academy of Science’s Shine Dome on Ngunnawal and Ngambri land on 29 February 2024, the event celebrated ARDC’s National Data Assets and Platforms initiatives, highlighting the wealth of valuable resources now available to researchers.

Among the projects showcased, a particularly noteworthy initiative was led by Phenomics Australia, the Biomedical Data Asset (BDA). This project, a pivotal part of Phenomics Australia’s Data initiatives, strives to expand researchers’ access to platforms offering integrated clinical and experimental genotype-phenotype high-quality data assets, crucial for biomedical discovery and disease management.
