Showcasing Australia’s National Research Infrastructure in QLD and VIC: Advancing Therapeutic Innovation

Share this:

Following the success of the NSW Showcase earlier this year, MTPConnect hosted two more events highlighting Australia’s state-of-the-art national research infrastructure. Attendees had the opportunity to hear presentations from key organisations such as Phenomics Australia, ANSTO, Bioplatforms Australia, The Australian National Fabrication Facility (ANFF), National Measurement Institute, Australia and Therapeutic Innovation Australia, along with companies that have utilised these facilities.

The first event took place in Brisbane on 26 August, with presentations from Dr Nathan Gödde, manager of the Australian Organoid Facility (AOF), followed by Melbourne on 11 September 2024 with presentations from Phenomics Australia Scientific Director, Prof Kaylene Simpson, Head of the Victorian Centre For Functional Genomics (VCFG) at Peter Mac and Dr Iva Nikolic, oNKo-innate’s Chief Technology Officer.

Participants learned how to access these resources, explore funding opportunities, and discover how life sciences companies have leveraged them to advance therapeutic development.

A special thanks to MTPConnect for organising these valuable showcases.
