Phenomics Australia Knowledge and Innovation Network

Share this:

The Knowledge and Innovation Network (KIN) was established in 2024 to foster a community of practice for research infrastructure staff across Phenomics Australia facilities.

It brings together representatives from all of Phenomics Australia’s nodes in a structured forum to enable shared problem-solving, knowledge and expertise exchange, and the identification of common technical and operational challenges. By working collaboratively, this network aims to expand access to Phenomics Australia’s capabilities to the broader researcher community, further supporting health discovery and translation.

The network recently held its first in-person meeting on 18 February, at the Woodward Conference Centre in Melbourne.

The meeting proved highly successful, with strong engagement, dynamic interactions, and productive discussions among KIN members.

The Phenomics Australia Scientific Leadership Committee was also represented, with Prof. Alice Pébay (Scientific Leadership Committee member) contributing to discussions.

Participants also engage in productive discussion with the Phenomics Australia Executive team, including Prof. Michael Dobbie (Chief Executive Officer), alongside key representatives across the organisation: Dr Marina Trigueros (Communications Manager), Dr John Parisot (Strategic Partnership Advisor), Dr Twishi Gulati (National Service Coordinator), and Mr Nick Rossow (Data Operations Manager, Digital Platforms).

This strong momentum will undoubtedly lead to even closer collaboration across the network moving forward.
