Phenomics Australia is pleased to announce that it has joined the Academy for Collaborative Research Infrastructure (ACRI) as an institutional member.
ACRI is an independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting Australia’s research infrastructure workforce. Its mission is to deliver tailored professional development for facility staff, advocate for stronger and more sustainable career pathways, and build a national community that encourages knowledge sharing and peer support.
The Academy was established to address the ongoing challenge of effectively developing and sustaining the research infrastructure workforce. It serves as a unified voice and professional community for specialists working across this critical sector.
As part of this commitment, many of Phenomics Australia’s research infrastructure staff are now ACRI members. We look forward to collaborating with ACRI to advance its career development initiatives.

Phenomics Australia’s Scientific Director, Professor Kaylene Simpson, currently serves as Chair of the inaugural ACRI Conference to be held in Melbourne, June 23-24. Her leadership highlights the significance of this initiative in strengthening the broader research infrastructure ecosystem and supporting the people who drive it.
