Australia’s National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS) ensures that researchers have access to the facilities, equipment and resources they need to produce world-class research. These resources range from supercomputers and microscopes to datasets and software platforms, all provided through NCRIS projects and facilities around Australia.

With the resources provided by 27 projects, researchers are working to understand asteroids, develop artificial intelligence, address climate change, improve health and wellbeing and much more. Check them all here.

‘ Project collaborators from the Department of Education and each of the NCRIS organisations acknowledge First Nations people as the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which this work was imagined and realised. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present.”

The school theme for National Science Week in 2023 is Innovation: Powering Future Industries. The theme incorporates the advancement in technology in all industries, especially using artificial intelligence (AI). Learn more here.
