We are pleased to welcome Prof. Tim Senden to Phenomics Australia’s Board of Directors. Tim brings extensive experience in transdisciplinary research and pathways to commercialisation.

Tim’s insights and leadership will help us foster collaboration across disciplines and unlock new opportunities for impact, shaping our vision for advancing research and innovation. With his guidance, we will strengthen our investments in transformative technologies and ensure they deliver meaningful benefits for researchers, industry partners, and society.

Meet Tim

Tim Senden FNAI, FAIP is an experimental physical chemist with experience in transdisciplinary research and commercialisation.

He received his PhD in 1993 in Atomic Force Microscopy from the ANU, worked in France and UNSW before returning to ANU in 1997.  He was the Director of the Research School of Physics for over 10 years before taking his current role as Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research Infrastructure and Entities).
