Last month, Phenomics Australia’s Strategic Partnerships Advisor Dr. John Parisot attended Cooperative Research Australia’s Collaborate Innovate 2026 conference in Perth, alongside colleagues from NCRIS.
Collaborate Innovate 2026 is Cooperative Research Australia’s premier annual conference connecting industry, research, and government stakeholders to drive collaboration and innovation across Australia.
The 2026 edition of the Collaborate Innovate Conference was held last month in Perth, with the theme “National Growth, Global Reach”. The event is designed to bring together over 300 leaders from industry, research institutions, government, and professional services to explore critical topics in research translation, commercialisation, innovation, and industrial transformation.
Conversations focused on the future of research and development, the outcomes of the Strategic Examination of Research and Development (SERD), and the opportunities ahead in areas such as digital innovation and critical minerals. It provided a valuable opportunity to connect with partners and collaborators and contribute to discussions shaping the future of Australia’s research infrastructure and innovation ecosystem.
It’s inspiring to see the real-world impact these collaborations and capabilities, like NCRIS, continue to deliver across the research community.
