Phenomenal Science is a podcast that follows the journey of researchers and technical experts who are a part of our networks and use our expertise to conduct groundbreaking research into precision medicine.

Hosted by Phenomics Australia Communications Assistant, Ms Bridget Elliott-Rudder, the podcast explores the ways in which we support researchers to discover the genetic drivers of human disease and enable high-impact healthcare outcomes in precision medicine.

Our newest episode features Dr Lachlan Jolly,  a leading expert in the genetic and molecular basis of neurodevelopmental disorders. His long time friendship with Professor Simon Barry, Head of the Functional Genomics South Australia (FGSA) at the University of Adelaide, led him to become a long time user of Phenomics Australia. Accessing both the Phenomics Australia FGSA node and South Genome Editing Facility (SAGE) node at the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute.

Dr Jolly’s work is crucial for enhancing our understanding of these complex conditions, improving diagnostic capabilities and outcomes, and paving the way for tailored therapeutic interventions.
