Phenomics Australia’s Strategic Partnerships Advisor, Dr John Parisot, attended the Human Nervous System (HNS) Models to Accelerate Clinical Translation Symposium, an event proudly sponsored by Phenomics Australia.
Held from 3–5 March 2026 at the SAHMRI Auditorium in Adelaide, the three-day international meeting brought together leading neuroscientists from around the world.
Participants explored cutting-edge approaches to studying and modelling the human brain at unprecedented levels of detail, with the aim of accelerating clinical translation in neurology and psychiatry.

The symposium featured two days of expert presentations followed by a hands-on workshop.
During the workshop, participants learned practical techniques for generating and analysing human brain tissue in vitro, including advanced electrophysiology and drug screening using neural organoids and 2D/3D bioprinted tissue models.
