We were very excited to have the team back together for the Phenomics Australia Science Strategy Review held at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre from Monday 17th to Wednesday 19th of March.

It was a fully-packed two days of discussions and proposals, with important contributions from our Phenomics Australia nodes, board members, executive and external panel members in shaping Phenomics Australia’s evolving role within the national research infrastructure ecosystem. This will ensure Phenomics Australia continues to enable research impact by responding to present, emerging, and future opportunities and challenges.

We are very grateful to our esteemed panel members:

  • Emeritus Professor Ian Smith (Panel Chair) – AIS Life Science Consulting; member of several National Research Infrastructure Boards/Councils; former Vice Provost (Research & Research Infrastructure), Monash University
  • Ms Maureen Turner – CEO and Company Secretary, BioGrid Australia Ltd.
  • Associate Professor Xinyi Su – Director, Innovation Technologies; Executive Director, Institute of Molecular & Cell Biology (IMCB), A*STAR, Singapore
  • Professor Martin Hrabě de Angelis – Director, Institute of Experimental Genetics, Helmholtz Munich

Phenomics Australia looks forward to continuing to provide world-class infrastructure and expertise, collaborating for research excellence, and advocating and partnering for impact, to benefit the health of all Australians.
