From November 28-29, 2024, Phenomics Australia proudly participated in the Australian Functional Genomics Network Symposium at the Brain Centre Auditorium, University of Melbourne, Parkville.
As proud sponsors of this flagship event, alongside Bioplatforms Australia and TIA, we were thrilled to support the functional genomics community and showcase our commitment to advancing genomic research and collaboration.
Phenomics Australia team, including our CEO, Prof Michael Dobbie, Deputy CEO, A/Prof Jim Hennessy, and Dr John Parisot, Strategic Partnerships Advisor, engaged in fantastic interactions with attendees, discussing how Phenomics Australia’s services, expertise, and partnerships can enable the translation of genomic findings into a patient diagnosis.
The event was a resounding success, bringing together leaders from diverse disciplines to highlight functional genomics approaches to resolving genomic findings in rare disease patients. It featured presentations from an outstanding lineup of speakers, including Phenomics Australia’s Scientific Directors, Prof Sally Dunwoodie, Deputy Director of the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute (VCCRI) and Prof Ernst Wolvetang, Head of the Stem Cell Engineering Laboratory, at AIBN.
