On the 27th of November, Phenomics Australia representatives, including Prof Michael Dobbie, CEO, and Dr Marina Trigueros, Communications Manager, were invited to attend a Parliamentary Friends of Science event with Science & Technology Australia and the Australian Academy of Science.

This event showcased future innovations made from Australian ideas with stars of science and engineering including, Professor Madhu Bhaskaran, Ms Anne Harris, Ms Ruby Heard and Prof Tanya Monro.

It was also an opportunity to acknowledge the Hon Karen Andrews MP at her final Friends of Science event since it was established 12 years ago with the Co-chair of the group, Deputy PM the Hon Richard Marles MP. As she prepares to retire from Parliament at the next federal election, she was recognised for her contributions to Australian science over many years.
