Join us for a hands-on iPSC and CRISPR Workshop at the Phenomics Australia node, the iPSC Gene Editing Facility, at Murdoch Children’s Research Institute.
This workshop will cover both practical and theoretical aspects required for the generation of genetically engineered iPSCs, including:
✔️ Designing CRISPR guides and templates for the gene knock-out and knock-in projects
✔️ Genotyping/screening methods for identifying successfully edited hPSCs
✔️ Combining reprogramming and gene editing into a single workflow
✔️ Next generation editing tools such as prime-editing and base-editing
✔️ Support for the design and execution of individual gene editing projects
📍 Location: Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, iPSC Gene Editing Facility
📅 Dates: 1st–4th December
Who: open to research assistants, students and post-doctoral researchers with some prior experience in basic molecular biology and hPSC culture techniques.
Cost: $1200 (to cover costs of materials, reagents and catering).
