Phenomics Australia Board member Prof. Graham Mann and Deputy CEO A/Prof. Jim Hennessy were pleased to join fellow NCRIS members, including Population Health Research Network, Therapeutic Innovation Australia, National Imaging Facility, Bioplatforms Australia, and the Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC), at a workshop hosted by the Melanoma Institute Australia and the ACRF Australian Centre of Excellence in Melanoma Imaging and Diagnosis (ACEMID) in September. The workshop focused on fostering collaboration to integrate advanced data solutions for the prevention and detection of melanoma.

Solving Australia’s cancer – Melanoma – requires us to work together at a national scale from across imaging, genomics, pathology and clinical care. This task requires innovative data-management strategies to link interdisciplinary data and prepare it for high-impact research.
