Hosted by the NCRIS Health Group in alignment with the International Conference on Research Infrastructures (ICRI 2024), the symposium united health research infrastructure experts from Europe, Australia, Asia Pacific and other regions.
Discussions focused on exchanging information about national and international health research infrastructure initiatives and collaboration opportunities across phenomics and other omics, imaging, therapeutics, and population outcomes.
Phenomics Australia’s CEO, Prof Michael Dobbie, joined an esteemed panel titled “Challenges and opportunities for international cooperation of health research infrastructure”, sharing insights into the vital role of Phenomics Australia in supporting international collaboration advancing health research and the impact of connecting infrastructures across nations, alongside panellists Prof Wojtek James Goscinski, (National Imaging Facility), Dr Michael Raess, (INFRAFRONTIER), and Antje Keppler, Euro-BioImaging, ERIC Forum.
