Take your research to the next level with the HIMF. The HIMF Symposium will take place on Monday, 19 May 2025 at the Translational Research Institute (TRI), Queensland.

The HIMF Symposium introduces Australian-first capability for the generation of high-quality preclinical models with humanised immune systems, HIMF, – in partnership with The Jackson Laboratory (JAX), Mater Research, The University of Queensland and the Queensland Cord Blood Bank.

Event Schedule:

🕗 Session 1 (Open to all): 8:15am – 1:00pm

🕐 Session 2 (Invite only): 1:45pm – 4:00pm

Highlights:

  • Presentations from VIP speakers Dr Michael Campagna and Dr Andrew Schile (JAX)
  • Overview of HIMF models and their capabilities
  • Insights into HIMF’s specialised technical services
  • Benefits of co-location with TRI’s Gnotobiotic and Preclinical Imaging Facilities

The HIMF Symposium is open to all TRI-based researchers plus external researchers by invitation.
