Celebrating a Decade of Excellence: 10th Anniversary of South Australian Genome Editing Facility (SAGE)

Share this:

Ten years ago, SAGE opened its doors as one of Australia’s pioneering genome editing facilities, driven by a clear mission: to support researchers in creating genetic models that propel scientific discovery

Since then, SAGE has continually evolved, now offering advanced genome editing services using cutting-edge CRISPR technology to generate mutant mice for diverse research applications.

Under the leadership of Phenomics Australia’s Scientific Director, Professor Paul Thomas, a leading expert in CRISPR genome editing, SAGE has become a vital part of Phenomics Australia’s In Vivo Genome Engineering and Disease Modelling services. Located in the heart of Adelaide’s BioMed City within the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI), SAGE provides world-class services at highly competitive prices, thanks to the support of Phenomics Australia.

Phenomics Australia SAGE Team

To celebrate its 10th anniversary, SAGE recently hosted a special event, which was a great success and a fun night of celebration with past clients and current staff. The event was a wonderful reflection on the progress made over the years and the strong relationships formed along the way.

Thank you for being part of Phenomics Australia’s journey. Here’s to the next decade of excellence at SAGE!
