Applications close on Friday the 17th of April 2026, 5pm (AEST)

In this Pipeline Accelerator round, Phenomics Australia is partnering with TIA, ANSTO’s National Deuteration Facility and Bioplatforms Australia to expand the translation expertise available to support the development of new therapeutics.
This scheme supports therapeutic development projects with up to $50,000, with at least 50% matching funding (co-investment) by the applicant.

Through the NCRIS program, we provide seamless access to a network of national research infrastructure to address the medical products challenge in the 2021 National Research Infrastructure Roadmap. We collectively offer academic researchers and SMEs access to a diverse range of Australian translational medical research capabilities, from the molecular basis of health and disease through to clinical trials.

Refer to the guidelines for information on eligibility, funding levels, co-investment expectations, as well as the application and funding process. All applicants are required to complete and submit the applications online. The link to the application form can be found in the guidelines document and application template. We strongly advise you to develop your application on the provided template as the form cannot be saved and retrieved at a later date.

Contact a Phenomics Australia, TIA facility, Bioplatforms Australia or NDF and they will assist you in your application.

TIA also provides support for Cell & Gene Therapy (CGT) research projects through their Technical Feasibility Assessment (TFAs) vouchers. The TFAs will provide researchers with much-needed direction for initiating translational research, building understanding of key process and regulatory requirements, and improving early-stage decision-making.
